Movie question...
.
Hi, all. Still working on the transcript (have reached 1:36:28. \o/) and I'm not sure what I'm seeing. And it's real hard to describe something if I don't know what it is. I'd appreciate any thoughts or speculations about the following...
Andy says, "We stop Merrick here and now, or he never stops coming after us." (about 1:36:25) Right after that, she squats to pull the velcro on a carry-bag -- but pulls nothing out of it. She stands and looks at her wound, and okay, maybe her wound was hurting too much to continue. But nobody ELSE went to the carry-bag to get whatever Andy wanted. So what's going on?
Also... where did the carry-bag come from? Nile didn't carry it in, and all of the others were marched in by guards, so they didn't carry it in.
Also... where have all the guns come from? Nile gave the pistol she was carrying to Andy, then pulled another from her back waistband. So far, so good. But then Nicky is released, puts on his shirt, has a pistol that he's checking. Then Joe, ditto. Then, I can't quite tell, but it looks like Booker is carrying, too, as they leave the lab. (He must be, but I don't want to waste time confirming right now.)
Okay, our heroes must be armed to go into battle -- but WHERE DID THE WEAPONS COME FROM?!?!?
I see a bank of lockers near the door -- do we really think the bad guys were stupid enough to leave unsecured weapons there?
In the interests of making an accurate transcript, I'd really appreciate your input. I hope someone who knows more about weapons and movies than I do -- probably most of you in regards the movies (I usually ignore movies,) and some of you in regards the weapons -- can help me figure this out.
Thank you kindly.

She and Nile shot four as they came through the door. Nile had two guns on her, she gave the one to Andy.
Nicky, then Joe grab handguns from their bodies. Booker grabs a rifle, but we don't see it. All of them probably grab some ammo, too.

And Nile grabs a rifle, as well, she has it after they exit the room.

Okay, now that I know what to look for, I'll go back and see what hints I can glean. (Trying to put things in the right order.)
Again, thanks so much for the help.

It's so obvious now that you and Lyssie pointed it out -- our team constantly takes more weapons off the downed guards -- but I simply couldn't see it until I knew what to look for. <g> It certainly makes things easier when you know what's going on.

Wow! Thank you! I completely ignored the dead guards. That makes so much sense.
I really appreciate this! Off to fix the transcript.
