Yeah, the main plot and narrative events are very similar. The changes are all character based: the biggest one being the comic's presentation of Lykon and Achilles as Andy's two most significant relationships being swapped out for the movie's presentation of Andy's relationship with Quynh, and the overall characterization of movie!Andy as more austere and less male gaze-y. Movie!Copely was also much better characterized and motivated, imo.
