Is this the place to ask history questions? I wanted to check what Nicky might have been wearing back when he became immortal. I haven't read all the comics yet to see if that detail's there. I saw in the character info post in this comm that he was a priest, but most of the fanart I've seen has him in chainmail and a Templar surcoat (white with the red Maltese cross). I'm planning some fanart and want to get his dress right and I don't think he could have been in a Templar outfit as the Knights Templar weren't set up until well after the first crusade (until about 20 years after his first death in 1099). Also, if he was still a priest then, would he have fought like a knight, in armor? Any help appreciated.
