I was just thinking about this the other day. Andy is either still getting her period or is perimenopausal; I can't imagine 6700 extra years of that.

Ahahaha yes I spent quite a while thinking about all of that! And my main conclusion was "the person who wrote this is a cis guy who did not spend one single second thinking about periods" followed by "well better make porn lemonade out of those lemons then" lol

Haha I mean I feel like there are many different options! IDK if you read the fic, but I ended up going for something in between "no periods" and "immortality cancels out fertility" and honestly in the writing process felt like there were many different configurations available, so I picked the one that suited the sort of scenario I wanted to see.

Ahahaha this was my thought as well! I really wanted fic where the team - especially Nicky, who in my mind had the least exposure to it - dealing with periods, and of all the possible options I decided to go with the one where people did not continue to get periods for thousands of years lolol
