I started with a longer list of songs, and had to cut out a couple simply due to the fact that the lyrics were overwhelmingly het-centric.
After that, it was a combination of:

- possibly obscure artists
- from my playlist
Not that I'm particularly well-versed in big/popular artists (I mean, I know Madonna & Taylor Swift are big, but after that, *shrug*)
This mix spans the early days, through happy times, rough times, capture, torture, drowning forever and living without each other, insanity, rage, revenge, austere grief, manipulations, etc.
